Coach John Mohn is a PPR Certified Pickleball Coach with a lifelong background in racquet sports and more than 25 years of experience as an educator. Having grown up in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, and played competitive tennis, he brings a strong foundation in footwork, strategy, and shot mechanics to his coaching.
Coach John works with players of all skill levels, from beginners learning the fundamentals of pickleball to experienced players looking to improve consistency, positioning, and overall court awareness. His coaching style emphasizes clear instruction, structured drills, and practical game situations that help players build confidence and develop smarter decision-making on the court.
As a longtime member of the Lebanon Valley community, Coach John is passionate about helping local players discover and enjoy the fast-growing sport of pickleball. His goal is to create a supportive learning environment where players can improve their skills, compete with confidence, and have fun playing the game.
Coach John lives in Cornwall, Pennsylvania, with his husband Bobby and their golden retriever, Millie. Together, Coach Mohn and Bobby co-founded Lebanon Valley Pickleball, LLC to help grow the sport locally and create more opportunities for players across Lebanon County to learn, improve, and enjoy the game.
